November 2017

Tuesday 28th November – Tonight Marella Cruises celebrated its partnership with Champneys, launching their very first spa at sea at an exclusive event at Rosewood London.

The event, attended by a host of celebrities such as Millie Macintosh, Donna Air and Anthea Turner, gave guests a taste of indulgence that the spa will offer onboard Marella Explorer, which launches next May. The event included treatments and products available for tester sessions.

Both brands revealed an exclusive onboard treatment available only on Marella Explorer -‘Champneys Ocean Spa Luxury Face and Body’ – the ultimate treatment, with slow rhythmical movements on the scalp, face, and body working with the rhythm of the sea to provide wave like movements to relax and pamper. The products used are enriched in sea minerals to drench your skin truly capturing the essence of being at sea.

The event also revealed CGI images of what the spa may look like onboard Marella Explorer. Please find downloadable images of the spa and event here

The Champneys name has been synonymous with health and wellbeing since the opening of our doors in 1925; we are the UK’s first true health spa. As a result, few spas can claim the heritage and traditions inherent in the Champneys brand.

Champneys was founded on the philosophy that health, beauty and wellbeing are inextricably intertwined; our pioneering concepts have inspired generations. While we build on our heritage, we also move with the times.

Champneys has four health spa resorts (Forest Mere, Henlow, Springs and Tring), one hotel (Eastwell Manor Spa Hotel in Kent), six city spas (Chichester, Enfield, Guildford, Milton Keynes, Tunbridge Wells, and St Albans), two beauty colleges (one in Tring and one in Holborn London) and a range of globally recognised products.

Trends have come and gone, but our unwavering commitment to encouraging wellness endures. Offering exceptional standards in beauty, fitness, nutrition and holistic wellbeing, we are an oasis of calm in today’s hectic world.
